I enjoyed a 20 year career in nursing (BScN with experience in peds, international health, primary care, public health) and am glad to now follow my heart into other pursuits. I have a nurturing, warm and youthful spirit. I am currently working as an Paraeducator in the Kindergarten classes at an elementary school. In recent years, I was blessed to serve as a resource (foster) parent to little ones aged 2 months to 14 years including children on the autism spectrum. With little ones, I enjoy being active and outside, dabbling in arts and crafts, reading, singing, dancing, exploring life via STEM activities, participating in playdates and playgroups, and generally having fun while encouraging and promoting developmental and emotional growth and healthy attachment. I particularly love caring for infants, toddlers and pre-schoolers. My professional, volunteer, and personal references are excellent. I am inexperienced with dogs though would consider meeting yours if he/she is not too big and not too feisty. Please contact me for my current and future availability.
