My name is Amber Benjamins, currently I am attending Humber College, for the Bachelor of Child and Youth Care program. I also attend Providence United Reformed Church. I have experience working with children as I was a program director and practised personal care at Woodeden Easter Seals Camp. I also have experience as a Craft and Program Director at Silver Dove Estates Family Campground. At the camp I had experience working with children who struggled with Feudal Alcohol Syndrome and children who had physical disabilities. Through therapeutic programming I am able to assess different environments and situations to find strength and improvements. I am able to be strength based as I work with youth of different lifestyle. Working with children in their environment and always putting the best interest of the child first is important. Communication is one of my skills that would be an asset to both the children and the camp. I love to play, make crafts, and even clean. I am available from May till September 2017.
