Nanny in Vancouver, British Columbia

I am looking for a position where I can use my talents as a caregiver with either a family or or a health care facility. Here in the Philippines, I went through an extensive six months Care Giver's training course that taught me to help children, the handicapped and elderly in a professional manner with the hands on training to know what to due when the need arises. I have a vision to travel and see more of this beautiful world and for my son's future of becoming Canadian citizens. My husband's dream is to return to Canada and raise our children Canadian. His maternal Grandfather is buried in Vernon, B.C. and his family heritage is historically Canadian but he's born in Seattle, USA. I want to make his dream come true, while making my dream come true by working with children, the disabled or the elderly who really needs and requires a caregiver for a higher quality of life. I've learned through the "hard knocks in life" of what it means to be a parent of a disabled son that requires that extra care through patience, understanding, and love, we as parents, to make our oldest son (age 8) feel normal as he possibly can. He suffers from JDM which my husband and I now have under control because our children are the loves of our life. Both of my sons are "Daddy's boys" without a doubt, because like me, he's there for them 24/7. By expressing these private family concerns, I believe, I'm quite qualified to be a part of your family, have the understanding of your children's needs as well as your requirements that are expected to be fulfilled. If I am offered a position that requires taking care of the disabled or the elderly, I have been well trained and versed in that field of care giving. Not to mention, our family shares taking care of my Grandmother who is 78 and I totally adore. Whatever the required expertise and knowledge is expected I want to put my education and talents to work in Canada. But, most of all, I want to work for people who love their children, parents and grandparents as much as I do.
