Nanny in Vancouver, British Columbia

I grew up on the North Shore and currently live in Vancouver. I'm hoping to nanny for a family this spring/summer before starting grad school in Occupational Therapy. I’ve had such positive experiences through this platform, and have been fortunate to have met and worked long-term with wonderful families. My long-term goal is to build a lasting relationship with a family so I can continue providing occasional evening or weekend babysitting beyond this summer. I’ve always been drawn to work that’s dynamic and people-centered, and I especially love the spontaneity and joy that comes from working with children. My childcare experience includes working in a variety of settings—from summer camps and daycares to private nannying. I worked as a summer camp leader at Gordon Neighbourhood House with children aged 5–12, and later as an out-of-school care leader at Rainforest Learning Centre with the same age group. I also spent time at the daycare as a pre-K support worker, caring for little ones aged 2.5–4—such cuties! As a nanny, I’ve cared for families with children ranging from toddlers to early school age, including one family with three children (20 months, 3 years, and 6 years old) and another with a toddler under 2. These experiences allowed me to form strong, trusting relationships with the families—something I genuinely value and hope to continue with a new family. I hold up-to-date Emergency First Aid & CPR/AED certification, as well as Responsible Adult Training. Looking forward to connecting! :)
