My name is Laura Amaya Builes, I'm 25 years old and I'm from Colombia, I currently live in Seattle (USA), I'm student in childhood education, sleeping training for babies and toddlers and parenting guidelines. I'm native Spanish speaker and intermediate English speaker (open to learn more languages). My experience begins when I am 17 years old and I have always been characterized as a patient, loving and helpful teacher, nanny and au pair. Due to my studies I like to structure activities for the adequate development of the children I care for, I like to include in their routine the time of feeding and rest as a necessary and fun activity that helps in their development. For babies I have a lot of love to give, I enjoy helping with their needs, food, stimulation, sleep training, diaper change, tummy time, reading aloud, adequate motor development. For walkers - toddlers, I have a lot of fun role games, imagination, magic and action to share, I love exploring nature, having walks and stimulating all the senses of each child, potty training and naps. Language activities. For older children I like to work on their emotions and senses and allow them to explore and discover through games and activities what life is like around them. In all ages I really enjoy that they can share with more children, adults and animals. Among my favorite activities outside the home are parks, play dates, picnics, visits to the zoo, museums, libraries, having nature walks, playing on the shore of the Sea, playing with puddles, practicing some sport, visiting the farm, collect seeds, sow, gather fruits or just relax in a good setting full of nature. For activities at home, I love developing games with art, paint, play dough, teaching materials, papers, colors, crayons, etc. Cooking together, dancing, role-playing, stimulation by playing, homework , and much more.
