Nanny in Toronto, Ontario

I am university educated, Chinese/Canadian, and an enthusiastic worker who greatly enjoys the company of children. Through paid and volunteer positions, I have experience with children ages 1-13, in groups of 1-30. I am a strong believer that parents know best for their child, and am easily adaptable to different kinds of family and living situations. I have worked as a babysitter for children of different ages, including infants, and a daytime nanny for an 8 year old girl, which included responsibilities such as school drop off/pick up, extracurricular activities, scheduling playdates, and going out on excursions. I have also worked as a lunchtime supervisor at a primary school, and was responsible for groups of up to 30 children ages 4-13 while eating lunch and during playtime. I am good at playground games! Basic first aid, and resolving playground conflicts. I've volunteered as an activity supervisor at a centre for children and young adults with developmental disabilities, and participated in activities such as playing with musical instruments, and supervising basic cooking and crafts lessons. I've also volunteered as a scout leader for groups of up to 20 children ages 6-12. This included designing and supervising many outdoor activities and games, and more challenging activities such as camping skills, knots, cooking, and safely using fires and knives.
