Nanny in Wellington, Ontario

I am from a small town in Canada of a population of 50,000 people but am currently living in the capital of Canada! I just recently graduated from Algonquin College from the Police Foundations program, and before entering a career in law enforcement, I want to travel the world. My love for kids started in grade 12 when I did coop-erative education at the elementary school beside my high school. I worked in a JR/SR kindergarten class and loved every minute of it. The kids always keep you smiling and happy and their imaginations are so broad you never have a dull moment in your day. The summer before I moved to ottawa I worked at a summer school camp for kids ages 5-12 teaching english, science, art, and math with Algonquin College Catholic District School Board. I learned so much about children and how to interact with them in such a small amount of time and cant wait to continue! Currently I work at Starbucks in ottawa and volunteer at Ottawa Reads which reading with elementary school children a couple times a week. Currently I am volunteering with children that have just recently moved to Canada from Syria.. teaching them literacy and playing sports with them. As for my family, my mother is an educational assistant and my brother has just recently graduated from the college in my hometown from Police Foundations. I speak fluent english and sign language. I am hoping to learn other languages that can help me in the field of work I hope to pursue after a few years of travelling. Throughout highschool I played hockey, rugby, soccer, badminton, and tennis. I took my rugby passion with me when I went to college and was a member of the Varsity Womens Rugby team at Algonquin College which was an amazing experience.
