Nanny in London, Ontario

Hello families, I am Natalia. I am 34 years old, Brazilian. I enjoy learning about new cultures, languages, places and little getaway trips. I love the outdoors, hiking, swimming or just strolling around.I also really enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I moved to London about in December 2022 for a post grad course at Fanshawe. I have been working with children for almost 15 years and, with this course here in Canada I'm specializing with the aging process as I finished Gerontology. Learning about the changes in our lives is amazing but I do miss working with children and, although I have a full time job I also have a few days available for some family in need of a break. In 2015 I moved to New York and worked as an Au Pair for a family with four children, in 2016 I moved to Boston and lived with a family and their three children. After my interchange program I studied Early Childhood Development and worked as a preschool teacher in Boston for 1, 5 years while still working as a part-time nanny. In 2019 I moved to Montreal where I studied French for almost a year and I was nannying a 3 months old at the time. I was also part time nanny for 3 amazing boys. In 2020 I went back home to Brazil where I specialized in Psychomotricity and worked as a full time teacher for the infants class. The way I approach childcare goes way beyond keeping children safe, well fed, clean and entertained. I believe little humans develop best through age-appropriate stimulation, challenges and of course, love and compassion. I love the outdoors, especially hiking, swimming or just strolling around. I also enjoy trying new things, traveling and getting to know different cultures. I am often told by the families that I’ve worked with that I am very organized, thorough and dependable; whilst being fun, energetic and creative. Although I appreciate being given the space to become the kids’ friend and not just “nanny”; I highly value each family’s boundaries, parenting style and comfort zones. I truly believe that it takes a village, and I enjoy being part of that village for each family I work with. Looking forward to meeting you and your little ones.
