ABOUT ME- My name is Laura, I am a 17 year old student. I was born in Canada, but my parents are Portuguese. However, the only language I speak fluently is English. I grew up always around children because I have a really big family so I was always willing and volunteering to watch the kids for a few hours. I want to become a child and youth worker, so I hope to gain experience working for your family. EXPERIENCE- I occasionally take care of my cousins who are two and eight years old. Some activities that I do with them are walk to the park, take them to the library, do arts and crafts, and also help them with homework. I also watched 2 neighbours, nine and thirteen year olds for about 7 months after school. I would play sports such as soccer, basketball and volleyball with them, take them to the park, light cleaning, laundry, and help them with homework.
