Nanny in Embrun, Ontario

Overview: H! My name is Julia. I am looking for a day-time nanny position in the Ottawa area. My availability is during school hours between 10am to 3pm, up to 25 hours per week. I reside in Embrun but am able to travel. Description of Skills: I am happy to support with all that entails with live out care such as transport to and from extracurriculars, home-schooling support, care of infants and pre-schoolers, tidying, meal prep, laundry, etc. I have my own van and am comfortable driving children and have space for various carseats/boosters. Regarding prior experience: - I ran a highly sought after and waitlisted Attachment-Parenting friendly home daycare for 6 years - I am a post-partum doula, with 5 years experience caring for infants, including twins, and their parents - I homeschooled my children for one year during the pandemic - I have tutored with Sylvan Learning - I have a deep interest in child-led learning and outdoor education and play, while sprinkling in input from my various backgrounds (undergrad in marine and freshwater biology and masters of environment and sustainability) My own children are now 6 and 9 and I miss having little ones around full time. I usually fill in my work time with my parenting support business (gentle sleep consulting and doula shifts) but am looking for something more regular to fill in my schedule.
