Hi! My name is Abbie and I am looking for occasional babysitting or to provide some extra help! A bit about my experience - I have a degree from the University of Guelph in Psychology with a focus on child, youth and family, and a postgraduate diploma in Autism and Behaviour Sciences. I also have over 500 hours of training at two autism centres where I specialized in 1 on 1 IBI therapy for children with autism ages 3-12. I also just finished a full-time 7-month 1 on 1 position as an educator and caregiver for a child with ADHD and autism. Furthermore, I have experience working as a camp counsellor for multiple years with different age groups and in arts and crafts, running and leading programs with a children's activity and events company (ages 5-16), and babysitting/child care positions. I am fluent in AAC devices, have full-time access to a car with a booster seat installed, and can provide meals, bathroom care and training, and ability-specific games and activities.
