Nanny in Victoria, British Columbia

Hi there! My name is Sam Hansen, I am 29, married to my high school sweetheart and live permanently in Nelson, BC. I am originally an East Coast (Canada) girl but I fell in love with the mountains and never went back (at least not to live). I am genuinely kind hearted, adventurous, flexible and have a passion for helping others. I am also strongly independent, stand up for myself and others and am a natural leader. In my spare time I love travelling off the beaten track, going to hotsprings and beaches, collecting wildflowers, or snowboarding in the winter followed by a nice roaring wood stove fire. I am happiest when I am snuggling with human babies and fur babies (which I recently got my very own). For the past 7 years I have been working at an environmental scientist/ biologist but recently decided that life is too short to not LOVE what you do. Now, I am excited to be following my heart and studying to be a holistic doula. This journey will be bringing me to Victoria for 4 months (Jan- April). While studying at Pacific Rim, I am hoping to find fullfilling part time work. In terms of childcare experience, I have experience as an occasional babysitter and am an auntie x five. Not to mention snuggles and help to many friends who have joined motherhood before me.
