Nanny in St. Catharines, Ontario

I've spent the last three years working with children, having babysat my 2 year old niece and worked as a teaching assistant during my 6-month co-op placement. I was given the opportunity to assist in the teaching of a grade 4 class of children aged 8 to 9. It was a fantastic experience, and I intend to put my previously acquired talents to use to assist you and your family. During my co-op placement, I completed tasks including organizing supplies, preparing learning materials, using answer keys to correct student work, working with students to complete daily assignments and projects, and creating bulletin board displays that showcased student work and supporting student learning. I also worked primarily with students who required one-on-one assistance with neurodiverse challenges. I knew I wanted to work with children in the future after my experience as a teaching assistant. I'm currently enrolled in a four-year bachelor's degree specializing in Child and Youth Studies at Brock University, which includes both health science and art departments. I have a car and will be able to take the kids to activities if necessary. My current availability due to school schedule is as follows: Monday: available after 1 pm Tuesday: available after 5 pm Wednesday: available all day Thursday: available all day Friday: available all day Sat-sun: available all day I will be available full time over the winter/Christmas break, as well as from mid-April through September. Location: I'm currently located in Milton and commute to school in Thorold. I will possibly be moving to Thorold as it is easier to commute to school but it is not set in stone yet.
