Hello! My name is Amanda, and I am a professional nanny looking for a lovely family in need of childcare. I am a fun loving, hands-on, creative educator with a passion for working with and supporting children and their families. I have 10 years’ experience as an Early Childhood Educator running my own programs independently as well as working as a site supervisor. I have had the opportunity to work with every age group throughout my career, and so I have extensive knowledge in children’s development. I provide an educational and nurturing environment for children to practice and hone their skills in preparation for school. I pride myself in planning activities that follow the child’s interest while also exposing them to other learning opportunities such as attending community programs. I have worked as a private nanny for two wonderful families within their homes, supervising 2 children at a time ranging from 12 months – 5 years. I consistently received positive feedback and appreciation from parents for my ability to show initiative around the home, plan educational activities and outings as well as implement strategies and tools to improve the children’s development and family unit’s routine as a whole. I am seeking a live out, full time or part time position. My focus is to become an extension of the family unit. I have my Food Handlers, First Aid and CPR C a valid driver’s licence and my own vehicle. I do also possess the insurance to transport children regularly to community programs and fun educational outings.
