Nanny in Calgary, Alberta

About Me Dear family, I am very interested in becoming your family's nanny! My name is Ashley Wlasoff and I am a 22-year old student at the University of Calgary. I am currently earning my Bachelor of Social Work. As well I have also completed a diploma in Early Childhood care and education at Capilano University in North Vancouver. I am a reliable and capable young woman who would love to be your nanny! About Me: I am a very friendly and warm person who has worked with children for over 10 years! I have gained my experience through baby sitting, and gaining my ECE diploma and Social work diploma. I have gained insight into many work environments with children from the age of 1-14. My experience has been through working and having multiple practicums in a preschool, daycares, and childcare during parenting programs. Furthermore, I possess the patience and leadership qualities required to take good care of your children. I play most sports and exercise regularly, but hockey in particular is most preferable to me. Not only do I find joy in playing this sport, but I also find joy in coaching it as well. Moreover, I volunteer with HEROS hockey, which is a non-profit program in Calgary and across Canada that works to promote a safe environment for youth to play hockey. Working well with children has always come naturally to me which has encouraged me to want to pursue a Social Work career with youth and mental health. More recently, I have been babysitting for a cousin of mine for about a year here in Calgary! Thus, spending time with 2 little girls: aged 4 and 2. Due to a family member not returning to work, they are not needing a babysitter at this time. Availability: I am looking to work for 3 weekdays in a row, for example, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. I am also available weekends if needed, as I am only in school on Mondays and Tuesdays starting in September December 2019. Why I Want To Be A Nanny: I want to become a nanny because I know I possess the qualifying characteristics one needs to properly take on this important role of child care. With my immense experiences in working with children, I am confident in my ability to make my time as a nanny the most wonderful experience for both me and the children.
