In obtaining my Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Child in Youth Care at Ryerson University, I have explored best-practices for supporting children, youth, and families in both theoretical and practical realms. I have academically thrived, obtaining Dean’s Honours, and have completed a host of courses that contribute to my overall candidacy for a position as your Nanny. A few relevant courses from my academic experience include: advocacy in child and youth services, children’s rights, therapeutic intervention, disability issues, child-centered practice, social research and evaluation (part I and II), as well as two practicums (field placement); in community and education milieus.
