Nanny Job in Calgary, Alberta

Nice to meet you! My name is Heather and I am a Registered Dietitian; my husband Geoff is a teacher at a nearby elementary school. I have 2.5 year old boy/girl twins and a 5 year old son who will be starting Kindergarten at a nearby school in September. My husband and I are seeking an in-home child care provider starting at the end of August. Currently we are looking for Monday to Thursday (hours 8:00 - 4:30 pm) and occasional Fridays. There is a possibility that my work schedule will be reduced to three days per week sometime in the fall, but I have a second "casual" job, thus may occasionally work 4 or 5 days a week. If you are unavailable for the full week, but interested in our position, please reach out (we use on-call services occasionally, so are happy to discuss your availability). We are looking for someone who is keen to take the kids outside (weather permitting) and enjoy creative play, arts and crafts, reading, etc in the home. We minimize screen time in our home during the week, but love music, stories podcasts, etc when downtime is needed. We are considering putting my older son in 1 or 2 days of after-school care per week, but this has not been confirmed. Job description would include walking (< 5 minutes) to pick him up from Kindergarten when not attending after-school care. We love music (the Calgary Folk Music Festival is an annual tradition for us), film, running (a little less now that we are busy with three kids!), travel (ditto!) and food (we are vegetarians with some fish intake, but open to our kids eating meat when it is served).
