Nanny in North York, Ontario

I was working at YWCA Tapawingo camp two years ago where I was a camp counselor for the day campers. I looked after the children, planned activities, and encouraged children to do the best they can. I planned sectionals with other counsellors and was a positive role model for the children. I worked at Marygrove camp as a counsellor and looked after 6 children. Over here I planned activities and games for the children, lead songs as a group and took care of the children at all times. I have previously volunteered with Big Brothers and Big Sisters on a bi-weekly basis for three years where I was interacting with high school students, playing games and helping them to open up about their goals and ambitions for the future. Prior to these positions, I volunteered at Doe Lake, one of the Girl Guide camps, where I prepared meals, transported the children to their activities, and made sure they were safe. I graduated from George Brown college from the General Arts and Science program in 2015 and am currently in my last year of the Early Childhood Education program. I am also First Aid and CPR certified.
