Nanny in Victoria, British Columbia

About Me: Hi everyone, my name is Max. I'm looking for a full time (30 hours ) nanny job in British Columbia, preferably in Victoria, the greater Vancouver area or on Bowen but that’s not a must as I am willing to move. I am an energetic, cheerful and hard-working person. I smile a lot, I like to make meaningful connections and it’s very difficult to get me in a bad mood. I am patient, well organized and have a good work ethic - if I see that something needs to be done, I’ll do it. I value open communication and if there’s something I am not sure about, I‘ll just ask. I love being around and working with kids and have lots of experience. I have worked with kids and teens from socially disadvantaged backgrounds as part of my volunteer work, babysitted and tutored throughout my high school and university years, completed an internship in a maternity ward, had CPR training and completed a child rearing class. In addition, I have lived with and worked for two different host families. Right now I live with a lovely family on Bowen and I would be happy to connect them with you so you can ask them all the questions you might have. I am available as soon as you need me. I can also connect you with more past employers if you‘d like. Service Abilities: I am a nutritionist and I love cooking and baking, so if you need someone for healthy meal prep, to bake with your little ones or to cook nourishing dinner for the family, count me in! I love the outdoors and I like to be active so I would be happy to take your kids on adventures or play sports but I also love reading and colouring or making up funny songs. I know how to change a diaper and would be happy to help with homework, cleaning and laundry. Oh and I love animals so bonus points if you have a dog or a cat or other pets! 🙂 I am German so I would need sponsorship, e.g through LMIA or the home childcare provider pilot program.
