Hello there! Let me tell you a little bit about myself… In 2015 I began working with a team of three nannies that provided full time care for a busy family with four children. I quickly bonded with the children, who were at that time 7 (twin girls), 10, and 12. In addition to that position, I have previous experience caring for babies, toddlers, and young children. In the two years I spent as part of their family, I provided overnight care while the parents were away and occasionally travelled with the family to their vacation home on Lake Michigan, as well as to their Trump Tower condo in Chicago. My childcare included driving children to and from school and/or after school activities such as tennis, dance, soccer, etc., correcting and disciplining them according to the parents’ direction, and of course, making sure they did their chores and assisting them with their homework too! We did plenty of fun things together too: craft projects, baking, swimming, playing games, watching movies. I especially loved taking the kids for little “field trips” to the park, bowling, going to the theatre, etc. I really enjoyed bonding with the children over a long period of time and becoming someone that the children could look up to. I also took care of a number of household duties, such as laundry, light cleaning, grocery shopping, making dinners, packing school lunches, organizing the pantry and fridge, helping out with any organizational projects that needed to be done. I participate in volunteer Bible education work seventy hours per month, so I am looking for a part time position, approximately 20-25 hours per week, to support my volunteer work. I will place a lot of value on being a part of your family and helping out with anything that you need.
