Nanny in Edmonton, Alberta

Hello! My name is Nova, and I am nineteen years old. I turn twenty in February, and am looking forward to the future! I have the most experience with children under the age of ten, but I've also helped in classrooms during school with children aged 10-13. I've always loved working with children. Back home in Peace River, I have gained a lot of experience with childcare. I have a 7 year old brother, whom I've babysat one-on-one for years. I have also worked for a family of five, watching and caring for the three children during the day while both parents were at work. I have also babysat other children among the community. I moved to Edmonton in July 2016 for school. Since then, I have changed routes with what I want to do with my future and am now just waiting on my application to be accepted. I applied to MacEwan University for a spot in their Special Needs Education Assistant program. I plan to work in classrooms in elementary schools and junior highs, but would never be opposed to a preschool/kindergarten or senior high environment either. Currently, I am enrolled in an American Sign Language that will teach me to be conversationally fluent in ASL, so I can interact with non-verbal or Deaf individuals the same as everyone else. These classes take place on Monday evenings, starting at 6:00pm, until March 20th. I am already fluent in English and French. I absolutely love dealing with children and would love to meet with your family. As of now, my schedule is blank, other than my Monday evening class.
