Growing up in a home with 4 siblings and a mother practicing day care from home, I have been brought up helping to care for many different children. As I became older babysitting was natural for me. My parents became foster parents a couple years before I entered high school where I began to be introduced to many types of kids ranging every side of the spectrum. After a couple years of collage and working general labour jobs I was introduced to a family that I would soon become apart of for approx. 5 years. 3 of which my job entitled caregiver for 3 beautiful children. At the end of my time the children were 6, 5 and 3. My duties ranged from before school preparation, light housework, pick ups and drop offs to school and many activities, meal preparations, overnights, weekends at the cottage, traveling for vacations and full time caring while parents went on vacation, grocery shopping, etc.
