Nanny in Lindsay, Ontario

About me: Have been told in the past that I am a Mary Poppins of sorts. Lol The love of song and making games of the responsibility of chores etc. I recently took a corporate cut in my career. I have taken this time to go visit my one and only son, his wife and my grand babes in Australia as well some time to think about what truly makes me happy. I have always enjoyed being around children of all ages. Going back a bit, I did my co-op years ago in high school at a day care. From there I became a live in Nanny/ house governess in Scarborough, Sweden and Miami. I have seven nephews that I have cared for from infancy to teenage and yes they do consider me their fav auntie :) they still want to spend time even with some of them now in their 20's. Also, I raised my son on my own before he left for college. I have a deep compassion and love for our younger and elder generations. I have also worked in a nursing home and focused my skills with individuals whom suffered with Alzheimer's. My grandmother came to my home for my care before and at her passing time. I am looking for a family that is grounded with a strong foundation and that would appreciate a new member of the family, so to speak :) Depending on location, I am willing to live in, however I do have my own home and would like to have most weekends and perhaps the odd evening at home through the week. I am a very domesticated country gal. I love cooking, baking and have a love of the out doors. Please write/call or text me if you feel I could be a fit to which you are seeking.
