To whomever, it may concern I am currently an ECE Learner (Early Childhood Educator) through an Alberta college. My passion is to work with children to achieve their absolute potential in their development, no matter the age of the child I want to be able to help them grow in all areas including but not limited to their creativity, social & emotional wel-being and their cognitive development. With fresh knowledge and experience, I am able to implement the necessary skills to help them achieve this. With the engaging and emerging curriculum I practice in, it allows children to create and advance in their own creativity. By having open-ended activities meaning they are not determined or limiting they are able to have control over the outcomes of each project/activity they choose based on their interests. Being able to guide them this way helps them to see beyond their limits. Without dictating their outcomes I can help them maximize their further development well it is enjoyable for the child at the same time. This helps with their development of creativity, imagination and also with developing their independence. For infants & children I always meet their needs until they are able to self-regulate and meet their own needs. For me helping children learn how to verbalize their emotions properly is highly important and how I do that is by helping them learn their emotions and needs, by guiding them in problem-solving situations with other children they learn those skills. I believe everyone needs to socialize and have community and friendships including children, In saying that taking them out regularly is a must in my books. That's is how I help children develop emotionally and socially. A little about myself... I am 22 with a passion for children I come from a big family, approximately 80 people including the extended family. We get together often. So growing up childcare was always needed, so for the last 10year, I've been the go-to person because of my passion for children, from a young age my family always commented on that passion of mine. I am so lucky to be able to find my passion/purpose at a young age. I believe in respect, integrity, honesty, reliability, being trustworthy reliable hard working and always showing kindness.
