Nanny in Calgary, Alberta

Hi there! I am a young, energetic and creative young woman looking to nanny for a wonderful family such as yourselves. I have worked with ages 3 months to 16 years of age and have 4 years experience. I spent 1 year working in Calgary public schooling as an education assistant specializing in children with special needs, and 3 years at 2 accredited daycares in the Out of School Care room. In the centers I worked at, we practiced an emergent curriculum that allowed the children to guide us with their interests and build our activities and learning off of what the children were interested in, to allow for greater development. My duties included arranging in-center and out of center activities for the program, professional and positive relationships with families, as well as maintaining licensing and health code standards. I have a level 1 in Early Childhood Education and an Education Assistant Certificate, I am first aid and CPR trained and I have a police clearance/vulnerable sector. I drive my own vehicle with a valid license and clean driving record. In my spare time I enjoy swimming, going for walks and reading.
