I have been working with children and their families since the age of 14. I have worked with Newborns, toddlers and school age children. I also have experience working as an english AuPair supporting families who are integrating children who speak english as a second language. I am passionate about education and art, studying Film at Carleton University. When I'm not working doing in-home childcare I am teaching workshops and trainings with students (both youth and adults) in how we can all be more respectful of folks' from different backgrounds, how we can empower young girls, and how we can raise young boys with a sense of respect of consent. I want to work with families who see the difference a strong childcare provider can make so that we can raise brilliant children as a team. That also means support the smooth running of a home. I am able to support with laundry and light housekeeping in addition to the childrens' meal prep at an additional negotiable rate.
