Hello! My name is Melanie Hilliard. I'm 25 years old, recently graduated Wilfrid Laurier University with a General BA, where I studied Child Psychology and Sociology. I've grown up in a small town called Schomberg. I completed my high school education at King City Secondary School, and throughout my four years I volunteered to help my elementary school kindergarten class. I also worked for two summers as a day camp councilor at the Nobelton Montessori School. Over the years I've also coach many children/teen sports teams such as soccer, basketball and volleyball. I'm an outdoorsy girl and love to play sports and be active. I've always had a passion for teaching and looking after young children. I also love to cook and am somewhat of a 'clean freak,' as friends and family like to call it! I'd be happy to assist with some cooking and cleaning if required. I'm also certified in CPR and completed a babysitting program. Since my graduation I've been working in office however, I've always been interested in pursuing another job with children.
