Personal Profile: Hello my name is Maddy. I am hoping to find a caregiver position in Guelph, Ontario. I just completed an BA in Psychology and am taking the year off to make money before pursuing my Masters in education. I have been Nannying since I was 12 years old (I am now 22) and have a large amount of experience working with kids of all ages. My hope is to one day work with youth in a community setting and I am passionate about developing programming for young people. During my undegrad in Ottawa I was responsible for starting a program called Indigo Girls (we also have a branch open in Guelph) that offers weekly after-school programming to young women aged 6-17 on topics like women in STEM, body confidence, self-love, etc. As you can imagines this meant spending almost every weeknight with kids (along with many Nannying gigs during the summer and weekends).
