Nanny in Edmonton, Alberta

While completing my education at U of A I have supported myself through opening my own tutoring and musical instruction business. I teach both piano and guitar lessons and I am classically trained on the piano through the Royal Conservatory of Music (Grade eight). I currently have 11 students, which I have successfully balanced with a full time table of classes. Tutoring students one on one allows me to know my students on a personal level and incorporate my students’ interest into my lessons. On top of my piano and guitar students, I also tutor students in reading, writing and math; that range from gr.1 to gr.9. I truly teaching a wide variety of subjects and ages as I find it keeps me alert, well rounded and never bored. My experience with both IPT and APT has increased my knowledge and infatuation for teaching and child care tenfold. Myy tutoring business allows me to work one on one with students, although through my APT practicum I have also successfully taught classes of 40. To whom it may concern: I am a recent graduate of the University of Alberta Education Degree program (Social Studies/ Art). I am looking for a full time nanny position that still allows me to continue my education part-time (this would consist of mainly evening classes). I have completed 2 teaching practicums at public schools in Edmonton. I also teach piano lessons and tutor students outside of the school environment.
