Nanny Job in Ottawa, Ontario

We're looking for an energetic and dependable live-out caregiver for our four daughters (ages 3, 5, 5 and 7) for 3 weekdays (26 hrs) / week from January 2012 to July / August 2012. Our oldest is in school full days and the 5 year old twins are at school half days. We have a very busy house with all four girls into all sorts of creative activities. Our home is in walking distance from a number of playgroups centres in westboro village and a couple of minutes walk from a transit way stop. Reponsibilities include: -ensuring a safe and positive environment -travelling to and from playgroups -ensuring they get on the school bus and meeting the bus at the end of the day -preparing snacks and lunches -basic tidy-up after meals and activities Interested applicants should have previous experience as a childcare worker, be a non-smoker, be fluent in English and have, or be willing to get, a criminal background check.
