Nanny Job in Victoria, British Columbia

Hello! We are looking for an experienced and energetic nanny to look after our 1 and 3 year old kids, on a part-time basis, with a flexible start date between June and Sept 2020. AVAILABILITY: Mom is going back to work in June and we are looking for at least 2 days of nanny care. We are also open to 4 days of nanny care if that suits our perfect nanny better! Please note: Mom works out of a home office (although she has no interest or availability to helicopter the nanny... don't worry!). Start time is somewhat flexible, but we need at least an 8 hour work day for Mom in the office. We definitely need someone in place for September, but could start as early as June. Days of work are flexible for June-August, but would need to be Monday & Wednesday for the September 2020 - June 2021 school year. Ideally we can have a commitment from someone through until at least June 2021. TASKS REQUIRED: In September, our son will be attending morning preschool so we need someone who is able to do drop off and pick up via vehicle (ours or yours). Meal prep & house work would be limited to kids' food prep for the meals/snacks you eat together, and tidying messes/creations that you make together during the day. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS: We'd like to find someone with at least 3 years of previous childcare experience, have their First Aid and/or CPR, a driver’s license & clean driving record, clean criminal record check. MORE ABOUT US: Outside time is important to our family, so adventures to the park, hikes & bike rides, puttering in the garden (etc) are high priorities for us. You'll win brownie points with these kids if you like music and dance parties. Interest in checking out the library, strong start & kindergyms would be great. This will also be our son's last year before kindergarten so someone who can help him get a head start with reading & writing would be great! WAGE. Negotiable, and to commensurate with training and experience.
