Nanny in Lake Country, British Columbia

I have worked with children before and am babysitting three boys here on weekends when their parents have to work. I have worked with an infant but at my age the diarrhea down the leg doesn't enthuse anymore. I enjoy interacting with children that are older. Bike riding, horse riding, hiking and exploring nature, swimming, gardening, fishing (C&R only). I enjoy cooking and I come from a German household so I can make delicious European food and I am a good baker of cakes, torte and cookies. (I still speak German too) My sister has the market cornered on breads and yeast but she is only a Skype away. Strangely I also enjoy doing laundry. I have a car and a truck (NO dui, NO demerits of any kind ever). I served in the Military a very long time ago. I have a (sometimes) irreverent sense of humour. I enjoy reading (700 words a minute with 96comprehension and memory) painting, beading, sewing (really love that) I tie flies for fishing. You can find me on FB as Nordeggsonya or Sonya Siskin. I am an early riser and early to bedder. I do have faults too. Occasionally I will let a bad word slip usually in German. I am older so sometimes my elbow hurts. I cannot be micromanaged, thats hard on me. Because I was raised harshly I don't approve of the kids that I care for being treated badly. No spanking, no derogatory words, no name calling, no screaming, I can't abide that. I do have First Aid with CPR and I still remember my first aid training in the Army which is even more involved. I have 3 cats (two are normal cats and one is special needs). I am a good cleaner, lawn mower ( I hope you don't live on a steep mountain!!) I'm 58 non smoker, very occasional drinker (I fall asleep) and I have a very safe driving record ( I can also operate heavy equipment). I f you think this might work we can Skype an interview.
