Nanny in Colwood, British Columbia

I am a fun-loving and enthusiastic caregiver, who has always loved working with children. During the summer I'm working full-time [9-5] at the Sooke Region Museum. This position gives me Wednesday's and Sunday's off as well as evenings. Come September I will be back in school, with schedule not set in stone but I would do best in evening, or weekend positions during that time. In the past I've worked with kids of all ages, from 16 months to 12 years, and have experience with children with special needs as well [I've worked with a young boy with diabetes, and a young boy with autism]. I'm passionate about spending as much time outdoors as weather permits, and much prefer 'disconnected' [from electronics] activities over the alternative. Bedtime stories are a talent of mine, if I say so myself, my voices are superb. I've completed the babysitting course, and have take several high school level childcare courses. Last June I completed my First Aid Certification, plus CPR, plus children. I'm comfortable in a kitchen, and have experience cooking for different dietary needs. Really I just love kids, and caring for them.
