Nanny Job in Calgary, Alberta

We are seeking an experienced Nanny/sitter to care for our 3.5 year old boy during the mornings or afternoons when he is not at pre-school. We are looking for someone who is playful, energetic and genuinely enjoys working with children. The responsibilities would primarily be preparing a light snack, and taking him on outings to the local park and library. We are looking for someone who has a calm and patient approach of interacting with children yet also knows when to intervene, and re-direct energies. We are seeking someone who has transportation to our home, and is fluent in English. Any additional certifications such as First Aid, CPR, and related child development education and experience would be an asset. The hours of work are flexible and would be negotiated. We are looking for someone for half days in the morning or afternoon, approximately 15 - 20 hours per week, and someone who is also interested in occasional evenings.
