Nanny Job in Calgary, Alberta

We are looking for care for our 16-month-old daughter as Shelley returns to work part-time. Grace was recently in hospital for treatment of meningitis followed by a stroke. We are both professionals working in the architectural industry and are able to keep fairly regular work hours. We enjoy a relaxed home atmosphere with a lightly structured daily schedule. Grace is a busy toddler who loves to play and chatter away to anyone who will listen. She is a friendly little girl who likes to go for stroller walks and visit the park and zoo. During Grace's recovery, she is back on her feet and walking again but requires a bit of help with her rehabilitation. She is a very determined little girl who has had an amazing recovery! We are hoping to find a nanny with a nursing or medical background who wants to spend time playing and learning with Grace while giving us the peace of mind that someone is watching out for her needs. Our daughter had a stroke and a seizure following meningitis and needs medication three times a day for treatment. She is a typical 16 month old and loves to play and interact. The nanny should be alert and aware of any further strokes and seizures and may need to be taken to Alberta Children's Hospital if detected. Also, she requires a nanny to guide her play therapy with appropriate toys and actions.
