Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

We are looking for after school care for our two children, Holly (6) and Lake (4). We would like someone to walk them home from school, Monday to Friday (times TBD depending on the school hours, but likely 3:00 to 6 pm daily - it is a 1 km walk, one way). You may be required to help and/or supervise homework or reading or perhaps supervise some extra time at the playground. We do not expect any additional work (i.e. housekeeping or meal preparation) - with the exception of providing a snack (which we will provide). We are looking for someone positive and enthusiastic who will actively interact with the children, whether reading or playing. The children do not watch television, with the exception of a movie night once/week. No animal care is required, but we do need someone who is comfortable with animals as we have 1 dog, three cats, and three birds. Both children have been in daycare since 1 year and for the past 3 years have been together for most of the day. They both love to read (and be read to) and are good at playing on their own.
