Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

We are looking for a kind hearted, warm, friendly and experienced Nanny who genuinely loves children. You must be responsible, have a strong command of the English language and be willing to make at least a one year commitment. Non-smokers only please. We are a close-knit, affectionate family living in the Woodbine and Danforth Area looking for a Nanny to care for our 1 year daughter old full time and part time for our 4 year old daughter who will be attending full day kindergarten. We are looking for someone to start with us January 6th, 2014, full-time Monday to Friday, with daily hours of 8:30 to 6pm. You will be playing a huge roll in helping our youngest with her early development in her most formative years. As such, you must enjoy and want to encourage her social and cognitive development. Must be able to demonstrate creativity and knowledge of developmental stages – know how to stimulate and entertain both of our daughters. Our eldest is very creative, loves to dance, sing and draw. You must respect and understand our approach to constructive discipline. As well you must demonstrate that you possess common sense, have good decision making skills, be able to remain clam under pressure and can handle emergency situations. Must have proof of first aid training, complete criminal background check and provide references.
