Nanny Job in Mississauga, Ontario

We are looking for a friendly and dependable nanny to assist our family. She should have experience caring for infants and pre-schoolers. Currently, I am at home on maternity leave until the Fall. My plan is to return to work full-time by the end of September. We are looking for someone that can help us out immediately on a part-time basis until I go back, at which point the job would become full-time. The current (part-time) duties would be to help me take care of our 6 month old son, prepare dinner, light housekeeping, laundry and perhaps occasionally help me take care of our daughter who is 4 years old. She is at day camp full-time so she is only here at the end of the day or on a PD day. She is an independent and cheerful girl who plays nicely on her own and does not require lots of supervision. Once the position transitions to full-time, the primary job will be to care for our son from 8:15am until 5:30pm, prepare dinner and some light housekeeping. Our plan is for our son to be with the nanny full-time for about one year, at which point he will be put into a Montessori school. We then wish to continue retaining the nanny on a part-time basis to help prepare dinner, light housekeeping, buy groceries, walk our daughter home from school and watch over her until I get home. The hours would be about 1:30 to 5:30pm every day. There may be an occasional PD day where we would request that the nanny spend the whole day at home with Sophie and we would compensate accordingly for the extra hours. I realize that this is a hybrid part-time/full-time job and may not be suitable for everyone, so I want to be clear about what we are looking for. Our hope is to find someone that will become part of our family and wish to be with us for the long-term.
