Nanny Job in Winnipeg, Manitoba

We are a very active family of four who are looking for care for the 2013-201... school year and beyond. I am a Phys Ed teacher and my husband is a Firefighter. We have one 5 year old boy who will be attending kindergarten in the afternoons and a 1 year old daughter. Healthy eating and activity is very important to our family. We get outside as much as possible and enjoy cooking healthy meals together! We are seeking a long term Nanny who has a flexible schedule. My husband is a shift worker so the days of care will change every week (can be scheduled way ahead of time though). We require care 4 days a week (not on weekends) and aprox. 25 hours a week. Successful candidate will have a clean drivers license and their own vehicle. You would be required to drop off and pick up my son from his French Immersion school located 2.5 miles from our house. Weather permitting it is a great bike ride or walk as well. The four days would be 2 full days (9-5) and 2 half days (9-1). We have a large fenced yard and a great garden, lots of kids toys and a big kitchen (spend a lot of time in there!) Care would be provided in our home and on the half days would be primarily in the basement so that my husband can get some sleep before and after his night shifts! We are looking for someone who is energetic, healthy, caring and primarily lots of fun. It would be helpful if you spoke some french as my son may need some help with his homework (French Immersion) Our children are very polite and well mannered as well as extremely social (well the 5 year old at least!) We take our jobs of raising healthy, happy, responsible little one's very seriously! Salary expectations can be discussed in person!
