Nanny in Montreal, Quebec

I'm an
Individual
Hello, I am Les. I am an transgender person, a certified early childhood educator , I've worked at daycare centers as an after school coordinator , as well as planned private summer camps for several families, and as a private nanny for over 15 years. I was injured on my contact as a private nanny in 2017 and decided to take a break. I took the time to recover and heal from my injury, work in the tattoo industry and run my own business. But I find with everything going on in the world right now my skills would be better used as the fun, wacky after school coordinator. I am looking for a family who wants a trial contract until June. Should we all enjoy our time together I would be willing to do full time child care for the month July, as well as discussing continuing our working relationship into the next school year. I am offering a mindful, structured, creative and technology free, child focused approach to afterschool child care. To create, facilitate and provide a safe, enriching environment for growth and fun in your home after school. To work with you and your child/children to create what they imagine is 'the best' after school version they'd like in a structured, organized and age appropriate way. To note, I am not a tutor, and will not be dedicating any after school time to homework. For $18.50/hours,paid via the payroll option on the Canadian Nanny website,I am available to your family for 23 hours per week, 3 of which are dedicated specifically for the off site lesson planning of educational activities that help meet developmental and personal milestones in a fun and positive way. An example of an age appropriate after school program would be brought to any interview so you can see and understand what kinds of activities I would be planning and facilitating. I have references on demand only to protect the privacy of previous clients. I also ask for a two part interview process to set us up for success, first with the adults, and then with the child/children. I believe that all members of the family should have an opinion in the hiring process. I find it important to reiterate that I am very screen-free. Very little to none when possible, with rare exceptions for special occasions. So if your child/children loves to stay stuck on their tech I am NOT the educator and caregiver for them! I expect us all to be present and involved in our time together, and of course I will follow the same protocol with exception of ; emergency or picture taking (with parents and child/children's consent of course) photos. I know this may seem like a very specific list of requirements but I have been fortunate enough to have this arrangement more than once in a very rural New Brunswick so I know that it's possible to achieve here in Montreal. I look forward to hearing from you and getting to know you all better! Should you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me. Thank you, Les. https://....org
