Nanny in Calgary, Alberta

I am looking for full time position through the summer. I absolutely love children and have lots of experience interacting with children in different environments, including extensive experience as a nanny in the past 4 years. From working as an aid for children with special needs, to volunteering as a peer educator for young children, to coaching swim lessons, I've been exposed to children in all kinds of situations, and feel confident in my abilities to fully meet differing needs that kids may have. A little bit about myself: I graduated from Queen's University with a Bachelor of Health Studies. I'm currently working on my Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine I have a passion for engaging with children in energetic and positive manners and try to entertain them with active and exciting activities. I have been told that I have a very high level of patience, and also feel comfortable following any discipline guidelines or techniques set out by the parents. I love cooking, dogs, and anything to do with the outdoors. I am looking for a position that, aside from child-minding, would also call for cleaning duties, household chores, taking kids to extracurriculars, and (nutritious!) meal prepping/grocery shopping I have a vehicle and could potentially be available for live-in on some nights and weekends. Exclusions: I have a pretty severe cat allergy, so would unfortunately not be able to work in a home where cats stayed inside.
