Nanny in Calgary, Alberta

Hello hello! My name is Haleigh and I am single mother of a beautiful 10 month old son who is looking for work in a full time nanny position! I have over 10 years experience in childcare but have been babysitting as early as 12! My mother has run a dayhome my whole life, so being with kids has always come naturally to me, and now with my own son I have a passion for helping shape little minds! At 19 years old I moved to Australia where I nannied for a lovely family with 3 boys. All under the age 4! I had an amazing time and after that went to Brazil where I worked for about three years. After living in Brazil I came back home to Canada where I Nannied for another family of two boys aged 6 and 3! I moved to Kelowna where I worked with a family of 4 girls. Each family I have grown close to, and have created life long friends. Most recently I was working at a Hilton Hotel as a guest service agent which was tons of fun however because of the hours and having to work all holidays and weekends, doesn’t fit anymore as I transition into being a new mom. A little bit about myself, I take on a gentle parenting type role, where I believe explaining things to kids, and allowing them feel their emotions in order to work through them is an extremely important value, and I would hope we could agree on! I am extremely organized, have fantastic time management skills and always bring my best self to work no matter the circumstance. I have driven for 10 years, and am a trustworthy and reliable driver. I enjoy to take the kids out and get them seeing the beautiful world around them and all the amazing things this city has to offer. I am a crafty person and like to think just as imaginative as the children lol! I have many friends who are Nannie’s who meet up atleast once a week with the children to have giant playdates! I am happy to cook, clean, do laundry and even take care of pets. My ideal schedule would be around part time during the week and an occasional weekend if ever needed.I have my CPR, first aid and am happy to have a criminal background check done!
