Description: Hello my name is Kate. I'm hoping to find a babysitting/nanny job around the North Shore area. I'm aiming to apply my skills as a caregiver as well as develop new childcare experience for my future goals of becoming a teacher. Able to start June 27th. Services And Training: I have my Responsible Adult certification. I am Emergency First Aid and CPR trained. I am happy to help with date night supervising, teaching numbers, letters, and colors, and children's crafting. I also have a bachelor's degree in music and am able to teach your children theory, voice and some piano. Further, I currently do not have a BC drivers license however I am in the process of obtaining one. Previous experience: Currently working as a kindergarten aide full time. From 2005 and 2010 I had the typical job as a teenager which was babysitting. Over the three years I babysat children ages 2-10. I was in charge of diaper changing, playtime (followed by clean up time), making and feeding them dinner, and getting them in their pjs and ready for bed. In 2015 I worked as a volunteer as a teacher's assistant at my old elementary school. Having an education in music I aided the teacher in teaching classes of 20 students ages 6-12, music, theory, drama and art class. When I attended University in 2016 for a bachelor's in music, I worked in a co-op position at an elementary school, teaching private voice lessons to kids ages 9-13. It was such a touching and enjoyable teaching experience. After graduating university I wanted to pursue a job that still involved working with kids. This past year I worked as a family photographer with Cherry Hill photos. It was a fun job, talking to the kids, listening to them and creating a calm and safe environment for them to have their photos taken. It also reminded me how much I enjoy working with children.
