Hello, families of Vancouver! I am a vibrant Brazilian grad student in psychology with a knack for all things kids and psychology. I have made the beautiful city of Vancouver my new home and I’m looking to fit into a family’s life as a part-time, on-call, or casual nanny / babysitter. Balancing my studies in psychology and educational research at SFU, my journey in child care is rich and varied—I've embraced roles as a counsellor, teacher, tutor, and caregiver, and I am deeply committed to nurturing young minds and spirits. My Vancouver experience includes providing child care for pre-schoolers, where I’ve engaged with ages 1-7, including siblings, and supported children with special needs and those from challenging domestic environments. As part of my clinical training from my home country college, I've provided psychological support to children, fostering their emotional and intellectual growth. I've also volunteered in a Brazilian orphanage, caring for infants and conducting psycho-pedagogical activities to support their development.
