Nanny Job in Niverville, Manitoba

Hey Nannies, We are a young, fun and loving family who live in the quaint town of Niverville (located 25 minutes from the South end of Winnipeg). We are looking for an energetic, outgoing nanny has at least 2 years experience with children in previous Nanny positions. **Must have had at least 1 serious Nanny job or an ongoing, long-term childcare/babysitting arrangement as we need a self starter and someone outgoing and confident in activities, preparing snacks and cooking lunches. We are very busy 24/7 so someone who is confident in being thrown into things without needing major training and is okay taking charge of situations!** We have an amazing, smart, outgoing and beautiful 7 year old that will keep you on your toes but also leave you smiling at the end of the day from constant giggles! Our Home - We are a pretty laid back, crunchy family! We are very strong believers on attachment parenting and aim to lead by example. Kindness and encouragement is expected! (Physical and emotional aggression in any form is not tolerated). We are a fragrance free, non-toxic, holistic household with 2 cats, a hamster, a guinea pig and a fish so If you are allergic to cats or rodents, you may not like it here. lol A few other notes, We are a Christian home and we homeschool. We would love to have a Nanny with the same faith as us, but its not mandatory. We just ask that you respect our beliefs! Our 7 year old daughter has delt with some major bullying and teasing from kids in the neighborhood, therefor we do want a Nanny who carries herself with confidence and strength and has no problem standing up for our daughter if challenges arise! But basically - We love to enjoy life and try to keep our days energetic and fun and we aim to be "Yes" Parents! This means that we think Life is to be enjoyed. Life is for FUN! and Life is short to say no to the things that give us Joy! Therefor we say YES! Outings are super encouraged because nature & the outdoors (especially summer) is WONDERFUL! About the Parents - Our names are Kayla & Jordan! We are 30 year olds who work from home and run a successful business of our own! I, Kayla, deal with some chronic health conditions that lead me to need to rest quite frequently through the week, and I would be needing assistance with most day to day chores and activities (light cleaning, meal prep, laundry, and PLAYING!) while Jordan works in our home office. The Job - This job position will start ASAP on a 1 month trial basis developing into a full time, long term position if the trial period is successful. The first month will be paid at the end of the month then developing into a biweekly pay schedule if all goes well and we establish a contract! -Must have good organizational skills, confidence is key - We have tons of work during the day, therefor we need you to be able to keep things flowing smoothly on your own once you've settled into the position! -Our daughter is well mannered, very smart and loves learning. She has a big heart and she loves making new friends and sharing. We would love for you to be able to manage playdates here n there if she wants a friend over or wants to do an outing with them! -Must have a valid drivers license and vehicle as well as a valid criminal record check upon starting. -Bonus if you have CPR, First Aid, or any medical training and knowledge in gluten free/lactose free diets, though not mandatory :) -Cleanliness is important to us! If Sophia is doing a quiet activity, the right candidate will take care of cleaning the dishes/floors/clutter, etc. Your Schedule will run approx 10:00am to 6:00pm w/ flexibility for our other needs and events happening on weekends and nights occasionally!
