Hello! My name is Haley! I am 19 years old and a first year University of Manitoba student. I am currently in the University 1 faculty exploring my options. My course schedule involves 4 classes and 2 labs. I have my own vehicle to facilitate the job of a caregiver / nanny. I have had my license for 3 years coming up this July and have not had a single accident or incident. I am a very careful, responsible, and fun person with lots of experience with children. I have two younger cousins ages 8 and 4 who I have babysat and cared for multiple times since they were infants. I have years of babysitting experience for a family friend, who actually used to babysit me when I was a youngster! I volunteered in my senior year of high school with the Frontier College Literacy Group, where I was placed in a completely French-speaking elementary school in an after-school program designed to get the kids familiarized with both English and French. I helped them with their homework and played with them, provided snacks and a warm and welcoming environment for all kids, aged 5 to 13. I am more than willing to get my background and child abuse registry checks, as well as first aid / CPR as requested. In high school I was a straight A's honours student with many awards; I am fluent in both English and French, and am absolutely willing to help children with their homework and / or reading and writing.
