Nanny in Ottawa

I am a fourth year Human Kinetics student at the University of Ottawa with a passion for health and fitness! Outside of school I train as a member of the uOttawa Gee-gees track and cross-country team and volunteer with at the Ottawa Lions elementary school/high school cross country and track meets. Additionally, I worked for many years as a camp counselor at the Ottawa School of Art with children ages 4-12. If you are looking for an energetic nanny with lots of experience working with children, I would be an excellent fit for the job! I am interested in part-time work during the school year (September-April) and full to part-time work in the summer. I am comfortable performing various household chores from laundry to meal prep and I am always happy to feed/walk your pets! I have valid first aid, CPR-C and AED certification as well as a recent (August 2015) police record check. Although I am not certified as a life guard, however, I am a very strong swimmer. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me.

We're a busy family with 2 busy little boys, and we found Ruth at exactly the right moment. With one parent temporarily overwhelmed by an injury, Ruth had the flexibility to go from being interviewed one day to starting the next. She has shown not only the the willingness to ask about where and what to help out with - but also has a sense of when to 'just jump in' and handles it all smoothly and with care. Ruth helps us out with light housekeeping, lunch-making and light meal prep and most importantly, managing monkeys, who, of course, love when she comes over!
