Nanny Job in Calgary, Alberta

Together with our families, my sister and I are seeking shared care starting April 1st, 2019, for my two sons, aged 4.5 and 2.5, as well for my niece when she turns 1 in April. Hours are Monday and Wednesday afternoons until 4:45pm, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 7:30-4:45, for a total of 35-38 hours per week. We are located in SE Calgary in the community of Maple Ridge. The ideal candidate will have a driver’s license, their own transportation, and a clear Police check. They will also have, or be willing to obtain CPR and First-aid certification. A combination of training and experience in Education, Early Childhood Development and/or child care will be considered. Most importantly, the Nanny will provide a safe, fun and creative childcare experience, meant to foster the social-emotional development of our three favourite children. We are a fun, active and likeable family, and able to offer some flexibility and back-up care to the required regular schedule if necessary. The successful candidate will also be responsible for healthy meal preparation, light house work, and pet care duties as well as potentially some child transportation come September. You will also be greeted daily by a loveable hypoallergenic Airedale Terrier, who loves people and is great with the kids.
