Get ready to be blown away by a high energy, fun-loving gifted boy who seeks enrichment in the normal things that little boys do. Our family has a flexible schedule but would like some help during the days on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and some Fridays as he attends Westmount Charter Kindergarten on the other days. Occasional evenings may be offered. We are centrally located downtown and easy to get to with public transit or if you drive, we could offer you a parking spot. You would use our family car when going on outings. A day in the life could include things such as (and we would pay for all admissions): -a trip to the Science Centre, Zoo, Devonian Gardens -time in Prince's Island Park's playground or bike riding or going to a play centre (Hide and Seek, TreeHouse, etc.) -visiting another neighbourhood's playground -a walk to the Central Library or visiting another library when a class is offered -Skiing at Canada Olympic Park -story time at the Zoo or Heritage Park -playing board games -arts and crafts -experiments -working on a monthly project (Curiosity Box, Little Passports, etc.) -swimming -a music lesson -LEGO building -trampolining or gymnastics open classes -reading books to him and practicing reading -attending a cooking class -ability to teach French or Spanish would be a bonus Males and Females are encouraged to apply. Early childhood education or camp counsellor experience is preferred. Experience working with gifted children is preferred. Curiosity and imagination required. This isn't a child minding role. This is an active participant in the adventure.
