Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

Nice to meet you! My name is Catherine. I am currently on mat leave, and my husband and I are looking for a Nanny/Mother's Helper in the King/Spadina area. The position can be part time or full time, we are open to both options. Your primary focus would be caring for our toddler. This would include: - going outside daily to drop in centres and classes in the area, as well as playgrounds/splash pads/ local attractions - Indoor activities: sensory play, fine motor skills play, book readings, imaginary play etc. - Nap time and meal time supervision Some other occasional duties would include: - light housekeeping such as loading/unloading the dishwasher, tidying up the toys etc - Occasional newborn care (when I am occupied wiith the toddler, have a doctor's appointment etc) We are looking for somebody who is familiar with early childhood development, has compassion and patience for toddlers' big emotions, and has the energy level and creativity to meet the physical demands of toddler care.
